数据源简介

基本科学指标

Essential Science Indicators,简称ESI,是美国科技信息研究所于2001年推出的一个基于Web of  Sciences TM核心合集数据库的深度分析工具。是当今世界范围内普遍用以评价高校、学术机构、国家/地区国际学术水平及影响力的重要评价指标工具。

高被引论文

Highly Cited Paper,是ESI根据同一年同一ESI学科统计最近10年发表论文中被引用次数进入世界前1%的论文。论文被引频次是科研成果评价的重要指标之一。

热点论文

Top Paper,过去2年中所发表的论文,在最近两个月中被引频次排在某一ESI学科发表的论文全球前0.1%,反映了短期内最具影响的研究。

研究前沿

Research Front,通过聚类分析方法测度高被引论文之间的共被引关系而形成高被引论文的聚类,在通过对聚类中论文题目中的主要关键词进行分析,最后形成相应的研究前沿,持续跟踪全球最重要的科研和学术论文,对科研人员的工作具有重要的指导意义。

数据统计范围

ESI中统计的论文为近10余年SCIESSCI两个数据库中ArticleReview类型的论文;被引频次为近10余年被SCIESSCIA&HCI三个库中论文引用的数量。
